REACH

Registration, Evaluation, Authorisation and Restriction of Chemical Substances (EC 1907/2006)

Daniamant’s products are classed as ‘articles’ under the REACH Directive.  None of our products intentionally release any substances and there are no Substances of Very High Concern (SVHC’s) within our products.  Therefore Daniamant do not have any obligations under the REACH Directive which came into force on 1st June 2007.

Safety Data Sheets

The REACH Regulation establishes the obligation to provide (Safety Data Sheets) SDS with substances and mixtures in Article 31. Other safety information can be provided following Article 32. None of them apply to articles. Hence SDSs do not have to be provided for articles.

Regulation (EC) No 1272/2008 on the Classification, Labelling and Packaging of substances and mixtures, also known as CLP, does not apply either to articles with the exemption of certain objects as provided for in Article 4 (8) and Section 2.1 of Annex I of CLP (explosive articles, pyrotechnic article). As Daniamant products are correctly considered as articles, we do not have any legal obligation to update the SDS we provide. Despite this interpretation Daniamant consider it good practice to provide Safety Data Sheets (referred to as Product Safety Data Sheets) for our products and these can be found on the product pages and are available for download.
